First off, had no idea the former Microsoft CEO had purchased the Los Angeles Clippers. Anyway, he still supports Microsoft and has told the staff (including the head coach) ‘no iPads’. Ballmer has told the staff at the L.A. Clippers — including head coach Doc Rivers — that he doesn’t want iPads around the front office or on the bench. Ballmer tells Reuters that most of the Clippers organization is already using Windows, though he conceded that some of the coaches and players are not. Now, it has been rumored that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 4 are suppose feature a flexible display. Apple has taken flexible display to a whole new level with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus (and not in a good way). Seems there is a bit of a design flaw with the aluminium construction. Photos have begun appearing online showing distinctly bent aluminium devices, with complaints that the new iterations of the iPhone, which feature a thinner and larger aluminium body, are unable to stand up to the wear and tear of staying in a pocket. via C|Net

I’ve never been a fan of Apple products. They are over-priced and use proprietary parts and accessories. Yes their products are high quality. Over the weekend Microsoft had posted to their Windows Phone YouTube channel a video entitled: A fly on the wall in Cupertino? The video was about the (colorful) upcoming iPhone 5C. In their first quarter (ending June 30th, 2013) Lenovo sold more tablets and smartphones then they have PCs. However, while revenue from PCs was surpassed by their mobile devices, Lenovo is now the largest PC maker with a 16.7% market share. Lenovo’s biggest source of revenue has been from China. While only 42% of Lenovo’s overall sales are to China, the booming Chinese smartphone market accounts for a staggering 98% of Lenovo’s smartphone sales. The first Windows Phone commercial I have seen. Microsoft is holding nothing back with this Windows Phone commercial. They make fun of both Android (with the Samsung Galaxy phones) as well as Apple iPhone users. Not really sure if I want a Windows phone, last thing I want is a BSOD on my phone.
